developer tooling, and databases. Originally from Amman, Jordan, I moved to the U.S. for
college and have been here ever since. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, playing soccer, and

Joined a newly formed Developer Platform team focused on improving developer velocity.
Designed and built development environments to accelerate the inner loop. Currently leading
the decomposition of a decade-old monolith into a cloud-native stack.
Connectivity Infrastructure 2022 - 2024
Owned and operated the platform infrastructure enabling connections to customers' on-premises
and cloud data sources:
- Alation Agent: An on-premises appliance customers install within their network boundary to securely connect to on-premises databases.
- Open Connector Framework: A framework that enables Alation and its partners to quickly build connectors for 120+ data sources.
- Alation Connector Manager: A stack that orchestrates and manages connectors both in Alation's cloud and in customers' environments.

Journera was a travel technology company that aggregated a real-time view of a traveler's
journey across providers.
Worked on the core real-time event-driven data ingestion and correlation engine. Built
integrations to onboard travel partners, developed streaming pipelines for airline data,
and expanded connections to marketing platforms.
